Ce seule-en-scène contemporain et poétique redonne voix à Elizabeth Siddal, figure centrale du cercle préraphaélite, volontairement effacée de l’histoire de l’art… Conçu comme un acte de réhabilitation, la pièce la replace au centre, non plus comme une muse, mais révélant une artiste à part entière : une peintre talentueuse qui n’a cessé de lutter pour exister dans un monde qui célébrait sa beauté mais résistait à son talent.
